Light Behavioural Health works closely with parents and key stakeholders in designing and implementing individualised, positive, and evidence-based strategies to:
- address environmental barriers to learning and support behaviours of concern through preventative practices and skill-building to meet the unique needs of each learner
- help learners to develop functional skills needed to take part in everyday routines and activities, achieve independence, build positive relationships, and engage meaningfully in school and community
This is done through family-centered capacity-building practices which:
- emphasise active family participation and collaboration with key stakeholders in decision-making processes,
- focus on building family members’ skills and confidence in supporting the child, and
- help families achieve the goals they have for their child and family
Services are delivered in daycares, schools, and homes. Telehealth services are available when deemed appropriate by the practitioner.
LBH currently accepts both NDIS (Plan or Self-managed) and privately funded clients.
